The announcement text: |
A leading consultancy that provides a full range of ecological services to a varied portfolio of clients in the waste, minerals and manufacturing industries, utilities and infrastructure sectors as well as government departments is seeking experienced and highly motivated ecologists to join their expanding teams.
Though the main element of the workload of the group is based around the production of ecological impact assessments and protected species mitigation schemes, applied ecological research is also undertaken, often in association with other technical disciplines in the company.
A specialist in protected species ecology, particularly bats and badgers, will work from the largest office. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in survey and mitigation schemes and will have held the relevant licences for such schemes (DEFRA*English Nature). In addition to this experience of Ecological Impact Assessments is expected.
